New cola box pavilion from the Müritz-Sparkasse: Art meets function!

in Röbel, below the water tower, there is a new eye-catcher: the SB pavilion of the Müritz-Sparkasse, which quickly got the nickname "cola can" due to its funny design. With the round shape and the strong red, combined with a white inscription, he not only attracts attention, but also has a practical benefit. Right next to the DRK building, where there is also a daycare center, this pavilion ensures that all banking transactions can be done comfortably. The parking situation, which triggered fears in the planning, remains unaffected - the parking spaces remain. Nordkurier reports that the machine is easily accessible for everyone.

Andrea Perlick, the CEO of the Müritz-Sparkasse, describes the radiant color as "cheerful red". This connection of functionality and aesthetic design is no coincidence; The artistic note contributed the graffiti artist Andreas Unger, who together with a student designed the walls of the pavilion. The motifs, including the city's silhouette and popular cranes, give the place an individual character and create an appealing atmosphere.

art and security hand in hand

The importance of cash in an increasingly digital world is taken seriously by the Müritz-Sparkasse. Perlick emphasizes that despite all the discussions about the future of cash, they are convinced that it remains an important means of payment. In an innovative step, the Sparkasse donated 1,500 euros for further graffiti projects, and Andreas Unger Plant Plant workshops in schools to introduce children and adolescents to the art of graffiti.

The security aspect has also been taken into account. The pavilion is equipped with a security concept that protects, among other things, from explosion, burglary and vandalism. The company Veloform Media GmbH, which made the pavilion, also integrated a frost guard to ensure smooth operation even in the cold season.

other pavilion in planning

But that's not all! A second, identical pavilion in a covered gray is already being planned at the port of goods. This is shown by the Müritz-Sparkasse's commitment to modern and safe cash supply in the region. Experiences and requirements that were also implemented in the construction of similar pavilions such as that of Sparkasse Kölnbonn in Porz-Gregelgel are included here. These have been there since March 31, 2022 and are geared towards the latest security requirements to offer visitors maximum security.

Local click and Veloform offer exciting insights into similar projects that show that modern SB pavilions are much more than just functional ATMs.

The new pavilion in Röbel not only symbolizes a modern approach to cash supply, but also the endeavor to combine art and functionality and to promote sustainable projects in the region.
