Bremen celebrates at the Hoeg: slackliner, music and lots of fun!

Bremen, Deutschland - This weekend, the downtown Bremen will turn back into a pulsating festival area when the popular “Hoeg” city festival opens its doors. This three-day open-air event promises a colorful program for young and old that appeals to all the senses. The name "Hoeg" comes from Low German and means something like "Da Hög ick Mi Över", which is like a call to joy. In this sense, visitors can look forward to a festival full of music, treats and variety.

As reported by the district newspaper, the city festival will not only come up with over 40 musical appearances, but also with tricks of the slackliners. These balance spectacularly on high ropes between the imposing cathedral towers and ensure exciting moments above the market square, the Domsheide and between the Liebfrauenkirche. One of the musical highlights is the French music group "P'Tits Fils de Jeanine", which creates a good atmosphere on the Sparkassenbühne.

The marketplace stage is animated by moderator Matze Hoppe while maintaining visitors with different acts. A special highlight will be the appearance of Levent Geiger, who is a former support for the "backstreet boys". He presents his new song "Champagne" and plays several instruments, including guitar and saxophone. Flo Mega is also expected from the local music scene, who inspires the mass with his band and sings with a hat and sunglasses over a new beginning.

For families, the wooden structures with a basket swings at the cathedral courtyard are an additional attraction, while the children get their money's worth when it comes to fun. A total of four stages and six locations will be heard numerous acts, including singer-songwriter Tenski and the post-Millenial women's band Paulinko. The physical well -being does not fall by the wayside. Visitors can look forward to a variety of food and drinking stands that offer regional and international delicacies.
