Today, November 12, 2025, dense clouds of fog are moving over Western Pomerania and Rügen and are causing a fog warning from the German Weather Service (DWD). Visibility of less than 150 meters can be expected between 1:03 a.m. and 9:00 a.m., which requires drivers in particular to adapt their driving behavior accordingly. The affected communities, including Ahrenshagen-Dargun, Binz and Sassnitz, are severely affected by the warning. Dense fog also caused poor visibility in northeastern Germany on Saturday morning and led to similar traffic surveillance. The DWD had issued a general fog warning for the inland areas. However, a positive turnaround is expected for the next few hours: in the afternoon the fog should increasingly clear up and make room for clearer weather. Maximum temperatures between 14 and 16 degrees are forecast, while a gentle wind blows from the southeast. Fog warning until night
