BFC Dynamo starts the season with a new squad: first test against Neustrelitz!

The BFC Dynamo officially started preparations for the coming regional league season on Friday last week and would like to start the new challenge with a breath of fresh air. The squad has been significantly revamped with a total of 14 new players, although coach Dennis Kutrieb only has six players from the successful cup season in the team, including the experienced goalkeeper Kevin Sommer. The upheaval that Managing Director Sport Enis Alushi announced at the beginning of the year is noticeable and will continue in the coming weeks. Kutrieb is planning to sign two to four more newcomers, especially for the offensive center, the forward and the left lane.

The first training sessions were a mix of performance tests and relaxed sessions, while since Monday the training has become more intensive. The focus is clearly on fitness - the team sometimes completes up to two sessions a day. Kicker reports that the mentality of the new players is particularly important now that almost the entire team has been rebuilt. Kutrieb is optimistic and has already received promising feedback on the commitment of the new recruits.

First test match on Friday

On Friday at 6 p.m. BFC Dynamo's first test match against the upper division team TSG Neustrelitz is on the program. Kutrieb will give every player the opportunity to show off their skills and divide the playing time fairly so that most players are not on the pitch for more than 45 minutes. The new additions such as Enrique Pereira da Silva and Can Karatas should also be used and demonstrate their skills.

Another aspect of preparation that should not be neglected is team building. It is important that the players bond as a team and pull together. Training service emphasizes that in order to create a real team, there should be regular joint activities to strengthen the relationships between players. This could be done through small actions such as cooking together or going on trips that promote social cohesion.

Outlook for the season opening

Another highlight won't be long in coming: the next big event is on July 5th, when BFC Dynamo will play against second division team Hertha BSC at the season opener. This duel will be a real test for the newly assembled squad to show how well the last few weeks of intensive preparation are paying off.

With the clear goal in mind of shaping the team sustainably and building positive team dynamics, Dennis Kutrieb is optimistic about the new season. It remains exciting to see how the newly formed unit will perform in the game and whether the foundation for a successful season can be laid.
