There was a traffic accident in tranquil Torgelow on Thursday, November 27th, which worried both the emergency services and residents. At around 2:10 p.m., a 64-year-old driver was driving her Skoda on Eggesiner Straße in the direction of Eggesin when she left her lane for reasons that are still unclear. Unfortunately, the consequences of the accident were not without their consequences: the person who caused the accident had to be taken to hospital with minor injuries. In addition, all three vehicles were no longer drivable after the collision and had to be transported by a towing service. The estimated material damage amounts to around 30,000 euros. The Torgelow volunteer fire department arrived with six comrades and a vehicle to bind fuel and secure traffic. The fire brigade's operation lasted from 2:16 p.m. to around 4:45 p.m., while Eggesiner Strasse was completely closed for around two hours.
