The renovation began in January 2023, whereby it quickly became clear that the renovation backlog was more serious than planned. On June 14th, the new “Zeus” restaurant opened, which has Greek specialties on the menu and thus represented the first international restaurant in the Kneipp span of Feldberg. The operators come from the Uckermark and already run a Greek restaurant in Prenzlau. The restaurant offers space for up to 170 guests: 60 in the main room, 30 in the next room and an additional 80 places on the newly paved terrace. The opening times are from 11.30 a.m. to 2 p.m. for lunch and from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. for the evening kitchen. The investor Matthias Nest not only invested in the hotel, but also in the creation of living space in the region. In the current situation, living space in Feldberg is a coveted asset. Two double bungalows are currently being built in the residential park on the narrow Luzin, and the first roof structure has already been built. The demand is noticeably high and the first apartments are already rented.
