Neustrelitz experience voucher: The hit for Christmas presents!
A lot has happened in the residential town of Neustrelitz since the introduction of the experience voucher. The sales campaign started in April 2025 and is now intended to support the local economy. The voucher gives citizens and visitors the opportunity to shop and enjoy in various shops, restaurants, accommodation and cultural institutions in the city. This makes it not only a creative gift idea, but also an important help for local retailers, such as Northern Courier reported.
To date, 502 vouchers have already been sold, which corresponds to a total volume of 9,140 euros. On average, three vouchers change hands every day. The points of sale are well chosen, including the tourist and national park information as well as the theater service and Möbel Ambiente Preuß, all located in the center of Neustrelitz. The voucher can be redeemed in a variety of areas, including the Bella Donna bakery, the “Am Glammi” restaurant and numerous boutiques and cultural sites.
Popular redemption locations
A look at the redemption locations shows that local restaurants and retailers benefit greatly. The list includes, among others:
- Bella Donna, Strelitzer Str. 58
- Restaurant “Am Glammi”, Adolf-Friedrich-Straße 11
- Hauptsache Kreativ, Strelitzer Str. 50
- Moebel Preuß Ambiente, Strelitzer Str. 49
- Theater-Service, Strelitzer Str. 38
A complete overview of all participating businesses is available on the city's official website. A QR code is also provided there, which makes it easier for voucher holders to access the acceptance points.
The voucher in detail
The experience voucher is not just a practical solution for gifts, but you can also use it to create unforgettable experiences. Whether for a romantic short break or an evening with friends – the offers are diverse. Experience gifts offers a wide range of shared activities that promote positive memories and strengthen relationships.
Another important aspect is the marketing and distribution of the voucher. An exchange of experiences is planned for November, during which new marketing ideas will be discussed. There is also the possibility that retailers who were previously hesitant will now give the voucher a chance, just as some skeptics have already been convinced.
Christmas is just around the corner and the experience voucher seems to be the perfect gift idea to provide local help and at the same time offer your loved ones something special. This initiative shows how we can strengthen coexistence in the city and promote community. At a time when retail and catering are often under pressure from online competition, the experience voucher is a step in the right direction.
