Next Saturday, November 9th, PSV Neustrelitz has the chance to play against the first division team TSV Giesen Grizzlys in the DVV Cup. Northern Courier reports that the game will take place at 7 p.m. in the Strelitzhalle and this will be the club's second appearance in the history of the cup. Three years ago, Neustrelitz made it to the round of 16, but was defeated 3-0 by Netzhoppers Königs Wusterhausen-Bestensee.
A crucial detail is that seven players from the current squad already have experience in the DVV Cup. This could be of great importance for the team, even if they are currently in last place as the bottom of the 2nd Bundesliga. In contrast, the Giesen Grizzlys are currently in third place in the Bundesliga. Seven defeats in a row have taken a toll on PSV Neustrelitz, only a win against TuB Bocholt from one of the last games brings a spark of hope.
