Torgelow Cross Country Run: Athletes fight for victory in the Schützenwald!
Next Saturday the time has finally come: the Torgelow cross-country race will take participants back into the heart of the Schützenwald. This event represents the third of four competitions in the renowned Uecker-Randow cross-country running series, which is considered a fixture in the regional sports calendar. According to nordkurier.de, the well-prepared 1. LAV Torgelow will host the event and warmly welcome the participants.
The recordings from the younger runners will be incorporated into the 13th Children's and Youth Games, which are already in full swing, which further enhances the competition. The first starting shot will be given at 10 a.m. for the U8 age group - a 600-meter race that introduces the little ones to fresh air and sporting events.
Different routes for all age groups
For the age groups up to U12, 1300 meters await the young athletes. In the years above U12 it becomes more demanding: young people can look forward to distances of 2.6 and 3.9 kilometers. The adult participants, both women and men, run distances of 5.2 and 10.4 kilometers, which correspond to four and eight laps, respectively. Walkers have to cover a distance of 5.2 kilometers, which leads through the picturesque landscape of the Torgelower Schützenwald.
The award ceremony and the conclusion of the event are scheduled for the Volkssporthalle. Around 100 participants are expected, even if the weather doesn't quite cooperate.

The route was well marked throughout so that participants could not get lost. The results of the Karpiner Herbstcross
can be viewed on the Uecker-Randow Running Cup website www.uer-laufcup.de, which increases transparency and fuels anticipation for the upcoming events.
The next and final cross-country race in the series will take place on October 26th in Torgelow, where exciting performances can once again be expected. Cross-country running has established itself not only as a sporting activity, but also as an integral part of the community. Everyone is invited to run, watch or simply enjoy the sporty atmosphere.
