On the night of Tuesday, June 23rd, a previously unknown arsonist set several cars on fire in the Lankow district of Schwerin. Loud NDR The fire broke out around 1 a.m. in a garage complex on Ratzeburger Strasse. First, a parked car caught fire, quickly swallowing flames and affecting the garage.
The local fire brigade was quickly on the scene and was able to prevent the fire from spreading to neighboring houses. Nevertheless, the vehicles in the garage suffered a brilliant fate: both cars were completely destroyed. After extinguishing the fire, the emergency services came across three other vehicles in the area that had fresh fire damage. The police have started an investigation into intentional arson and damage to property. Fortunately, there were no injuries, but officers are still looking for possible suspects.
