SSC Palmberg Schwerin dominates in the Bundesliga and secures its third win!

Today, November 30th, 2025, the volleyball players celebrated SSC Palmberg Schwerin another brilliant victory in the Bundesliga. In the game against the newly promoted Binder Blaubären TSV Flacht, the Schwerin women left nothing to be desired and won the game 3-0. This was the third victory in just seven days, after the team previously won the DVV Cup game against USC Münster (3:2) and the Champions League game against Paris (3:1).

The sets in Flacht clearly went to the guests from Schwerin with 25:17, 25:18 and 25:17. Particularly noteworthy was the performance of Leana Grozer, who was voted the most valuable player (MVP) of the match with 15 points. Coach Felix Koslowski used this opportunity to rotate the starting lineup compared to the Champions League game. Schwerin remains in second place in the Bundesliga table, behind leaders Allianz MTV Stuttgart. The next game is on Tuesday evening against Maritza Plovdiv in Bulgaria.

Sensational championship win

The jubilant atmosphere at SSC Palmberg Schwerin is no coincidence. The team recently won the final against Dresdner SC German championship title 2025. In a thrilling final game in the sold-out PALMBERG ARENA, the first two sets went to Dresden with 25:23 and 25:18. But Schwerin showed strong nerves and won the next three sets with 25:15, 25:21 and finally 15:11 in the decisive set. This game was the end of an exciting one Playoff series, which Schwerin won 3-0 and thus secured the 13th championship title in the club's history.

The joint celebration after the exciting encounter was deserved and emotional. Elles Dambrink was voted MVP of the game, while the championship trophy and gold medals were presented by Prime Minister Manuela Schwesig and Mayor Dr. Rico Badenschier were presented. Dresden player Sarah Straube expressed regret about missing the chance for the double and praised the SSC's excellent performance.

The Volleyball Bundesliga, the largest German league association with over 70 participating clubs, offers this talented team an excellent platform. In addition to the regular championship season, the DVV Cup is also held annually, the final of which takes place in the famous SAP Arena in Mannheim. In this way, the whole sport of volleyball remains alive in Germany and attracts more and more interested people.
