Fathers and bambinis: have fun with football in Boizenburg!

The little players in Boizenburg have achieved great things. At the beginning of October, the Bambinis from SG Aufbau Boizenburg, born in 2019 and 2020, took part in the Bambini children's football festival in Zahrensdorf. This wasn't about wins and tables, but about fun and exercise. Nine teams from the region competed against each other without referees or pressure, which underlined the relaxed atmosphere. The main focus was on the shared experience, as coach Andy Döscher emphasizes.

A coaching team with heart and commitment

The Bambinis coaching team consists of fathers Andy Döscher, Mario Thämlitz and Gunnar Bleiss, who have been active since November 2022. Each of them looks after a group of 19 children in total, with around 14 of them already registered to play. The youngest footballers show very different skills - from their first steps with the ball to successful dribbling and scoring. “When the children laugh and have fun, we are happy,” says Döscher, who plays with the Old Men himself and particularly values the family connection that comes from playing together.

The focus on fun and development

The Bambini training sessions not only strengthen team spirit, but also promote the children's football and personal development. The children play 3-on-3 without a goalkeeper on small pitches of around 15 x 15 meters. The focus is on dribbling, shots on goal and ball contact. The new guidelines ensure there are varied play days and increase quality playtime for the children. A rotation system and simple rallies make the games more dynamic, which should ensure that children enjoy football in the long term. This encourages the desire to get involved in sport later on, as well BadFV.de clarifies.

It also shows that players can be optimally supported through a mentoring program, especially in the event of conflicts. Trainers take on the role of mediators, which also strengthens the children's sense of community. Discipline and fun are the focus and should accompany the little kickers on their way without raising excessive expectations. The measures aim to promote positive team dynamics and support the children's personal dreams of possibly becoming professionals one day, such as Children's Research Foundation explained.

The declared goal: The joy of the game should bind the children to football in the long term. In Boizenburg everyone agrees that football is not just a sport, but also an opportunity to impart values and team spirit at an early stage. So we can only hope that the little kickers continue to do it with a lot of enthusiasm and fun!
