An exciting competition recently took place in the Pyrenees: Florian Lipowitz, a 24-year-old German professional cyclist, achieved his masterpiece and secured third place in the overall ranking at the Tour de France. Jonas Vingegaard, the 2022 and 2023 tour winner, also delivered an impressive performance, but was beaten by Pogacar by 36 seconds. Lipowitz moved within six seconds of Evenepoel in the overall standings, showing that he too has what it takes to be a big hit.

Next Saturday the riders will be on the third stage of the Pyrenees from Pau to Luchon-Superbagneres. At 182.6 kilometers and over 5000 meters of elevation gain, including the Col du Tourmalet, this will certainly be one of the most challenging stages of the entire Tour.
