There's something going on at Stralsund Zoo! The event “Fairy Tale Time at Stralsund Zoo” starts on November 30th and will take families to inviting stories in the magical world of animals until mid-February 2026. The series of events promises a very special break for young and old during the cold season.

Fairytale Time offers six exciting dates with different themes. The first event, which immerses visitors in the African fairytale world, takes place in the chimpanzee house. It continues on December 14th with contemplative Christmas fairy tales in the Ackerbürgerhaus, an experience that will not only make children's eyes light up. In the new year, the jungle fairy tale event will continue on January 11th in the South America House, followed by another highlight on January 25th with fairy tales from South America. In February it will be Nordic with fairy tales on February 8th, before the series concludes on February 15th with winter stories in the Ackerbürgerhaus.

The events take place from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. and are a great opportunity for families to bridge the dark months together and immerse themselves in the world of stories. Registration is not required, so spontaneous visits are possible at any time. Only the regular admission price for the zoo applies, which makes participation all the more attractive.
