Eldingen celebrates 4-1 humiliation against Ahnsbeck – hope is bubbling!

There was an exciting duel in the district football league at SG Eldingen's home stadium on October 25, 2025. In cold, wet autumn weather, SG Eldingen took impressive revenge for their previous defeat against MTV Ahnsbeck and celebrated a clear 4-1 win. Right from the start, the Eldingers showed a dominant performance, which became noticeable immediately after the first chance in the 4th minute through Lasse von der Ohe. In the 26th minute he let his fans cheer when he made it 1-0. MTV Ahnsbeck, who had now suffered their seventh defeat of the season, did not remain idle and equalized in the 65th minute through Christy-Diatuka Lowa. This equalizing phase didn't last long, however, because the home team immediately had an answer ready: in the 70th minute, Lasse Bergmann gave Eldingen the lead again.

Strong team performance and individual awards

The hosts then really stepped on the gas: Jan Marwedel increased the score to 3-1 in the 78th minute, before Bergmann increased it to 4-1 in the 80th minute after converting a follow-up shot. Eldingen thus cemented its victory and coach Christian Cohrs was visibly satisfied with the performance, especially in the second half. Leonhard Ahrens was named player of the day for his strong style of play, who stood out for his strong positional and passing play.

On the other hand, Ahnsbeck coach Joachim Enders was visibly disappointed. He said in the press that the team was hoping for the return of injured players, but took the opportunity to criticize the lack of precision in his own team's long balls. It remains to be seen how the situation will develop for MTV Ahnsbeck, who is currently in the bottom of the table.
