Annual exhibition in Celle: Masterpieces in Schwarz-Weiß conquer the old parade hall!
Celle, Deutschland - Yesterday the 56th annual exhibition of the Amateurmalkreis Celle (AMC) was opened in the Alte Exerzierhalle. As a special highlight of the vernissage, Norbert Hentschel presented his impressive drawing "heavenly striker", which conveys a dreary atmosphere with a few lines and areas. In this representation, a little boy swings on a swing - a picture that stimulates thinking. Hentschel implemented this year's motto "Schwarz-Weiß" with a total of five drawings and at the same time accepted the challenges of the topic.
The vernissage was excellently visited; The chairs were hardly enough, which shows the great enthusiasm of the visitors. Chairman Alwin Gröschner opened the event with introductory words and the musical duo Sarah Fischer & Volker Mertins, which accompanied the atmosphere. A total of 140 works of art can be seen in this exciting exhibition, which the Petersburg hanging uses in order to optimally show the variety of presentations.
creative growth and colorful variety
In his speech,Gröschner emphasized the importance of the creative process and learning from each other. The amateur painting circle has a motto every year that represents a challenge for the members. The topic of black and white, which is considered particularly demanding, is intended to encourage to promote creative growth. Nevertheless, the members can also present works outside the motto. This leads to a colorful range of exhibits, ranging from floral motifs to heath landscapes to fascinating portraits and abstract art.
The annual exhibition is open daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. until August 3, and admission is free. Not only Celles' creativity, but also the framework for a diverse cultural coexistence is offered here. A visit is also worthwhile for those interested in art from outside.
