TSV Daverden remains undefeated in the handball association league!

TSV Daverden remains on the road to success in the handball association league and celebrated a brilliant home win against HSG Delmenhorst II with 35:21 last Sunday. This meant that TSV was able to maintain its unbeaten record and is in great spirit. Coach Henning Meyer not only praised the solid defense, but also the goalkeeper's outstanding performance.

The game was exciting. At the start, the guests from HSG Delmenhorst II were in the lead 6:5 in the 12th minute. But this lead didn't last long. TSV Daverden turned the game around and took the lead 16:11 at halftime. TSV then clearly dominated the second half, including a goal from the strong Lennat Fettin in the 38th minute, which extended the score to 21:11.

Impressive team performance

TSV Daverden's strength was not just limited to individual players. All field players used contributed to the scoring, such as Lars Koröde and Lennat Fettin, who each scored five goals. This shows the deep distribution of offensive power in the team and that each player fulfills his role. The final minutes of the game were relaxed as Lars Koröde brought the score to 35:21 shortly before the final whistle.

HSG Delmenhorst II competed with only eight players, which made the game easier for TSV. Nevertheless, it should be noted that the Daverden team once again showed a strong defense in their home win. The league's progress so far gives hope for a promising season, especially after convincing in the last game against Delmenhorst, which took place on December 1st, 2024 and ended with 31:22 for Daverden. Goalkeeper Dennis Emigholz was particularly notable with his 17 saves, while outside player Bennet Bohling played an important role with six goals, three of which were from seven meters. Circular Dustin Pelzl even impressed with eight goals.

A look forward

TSV Daverden is now looking ahead to the next away game against TS Hoykenkamp, where the team can prove itself again. Coach Henning Meyer has already announced that there could be personnel problems and unfamiliar positions for the upcoming games. Despite these challenges, the performances so far show that TSV is still a serious competitor in the league.

The team remains high in the table of the association league and with such a strong team performance there is great confidence that the coming games can also be played successfully. The only question that remains to be seen is the ability to adapt to the personnel changes.
