On Saturday, June 21, 2025, the campus on Bergmannstrasse will be transformed into a living festival of science and culture from 4:00 p.m. to midnight. The event is organized by the Seefahrt and Maritime Science Department of the Emden/Leer University, the Fraunhofer Institute for Wind Energy Systems IWES and Mariko GmbH. The goal is to offer everyone interested, from big to small, an exciting insight into the maritime world. The event also coincides with the summer solstice, which ensures a special festive setting.
