Gigantic classic car event: 500 vehicles conquer Gifhorn's castle meadows!

Schlosswiesen und Mühlenmuseum in Gifhorn, Deutschland - On June 28, 2025, Gifhorn will again become a Mecca for classic car lovers, because the 7th Gifhorner classic car mile invites all interested visitors to the idyllic ambience of the castle meadows and the mill museum. Over 500 registered vehicles, including coveted classics such as VW Beetle, Polo, the legendary "duck" and several Porsche models will be seen. The appearance of a GMC Vandura, known from the cult film "A team", is particularly outstanding, which certainly makes the hearts of the spectators beat faster. Motorcycles are also presented, including the Suzuki GSXR 750 from the adjacent motorcycle museum.

For the event, which is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and does not cause any costs when entering, a colorful supporting program is offered. A highlight of the classic car mile is the parallel event of the VW employee rally. This begins in Wolfsburg and once again brings around 200 other classic cars to the region, which further enlarges the variety of vehicles at the event.

a day for the whole family

The classic car mile is not only a festival for auto enthusiasts, but also offers numerous options for the whole family. Visitors can fortify themselves at various grill and catering huts and relax under shady places in the mill museum. The combination of nostalgic vehicles and a family ambience makes the event a trip for young and old.

In retrospect for past events, it can also be seen that the organization did not always go smoothly. In the past, there have been reports on chaotic travel conditions and inadequate parking instructions, which led to long waiting times when admission. This year, the organizers hope to be able to guarantee a more pleasant process for everyone involved due to the increased number of visitors and the more detailed planning, especially after the parking spaces were inadequate at the last event and some vehicles had to be accommodated elsewhere.

classic cars for every taste

With such a colorful selection of vehicles, from the oldest models such as a Ford A from 1931 to numerous Bundeswehr and THW vehicles, there is something for every taste. The event is not only a way to admire impressive vehicles, but also an excellent opportunity to exchange ideas with like -minded people and to share the passion for classic cars.

If you also want to learn more about classic cars, you can currently find a lot in the scene. For example, the classic car community looks at the upcoming E30 Meeting International 2025 at Lake Werra Valley. Not only benzing talks and technology talks are offered there, but also various activities for the whole family. An exciting program is linked to the classic car mile.

The 7th Gifhorner classic car mile promises to become a special event in the region with its colorful mix of vehicles and activities. An unforgettable day for car fans and families is therefore guaranteed. For everyone who is looking forward to the event, it means: snap fresh air, admire the classic cars and simply enjoy!
