A musical spectacle is coming: On August 22, 2026, the popular band Santiano will perform in the picturesque open space in front of the Imperial Palace in Goslar. This concert, which starts at 8 p.m., is part of their open-air tour entitled “Something is brewing.” Goslar newspaper reports on the anticipation among the fans who are already looking forward to this live performance. In fact, this event is the second and currently only date in Lower Saxony for the formation, which is becoming increasingly popular in the German music scene.

The band Santiano was founded in 2011 by the producer Hartmut Krech and has now developed into a permanent fixture within the German music landscape. The open-air weekend in Goslar begins on August 21st, 2026 with a performance by “Forced To Mode” and ends on August 23rd. Santiano will enrich the event with her energetic performance on the second evening. Initial discussions have already been held for another concert on Sunday. Last year's event attracted over 4,000 enthusiastic fans to this special location, which sets expectations high for the coming year.

Although the performance has already been entered into the tour schedule, approval for the concert remains unclear at the moment. City spokeswoman Daniela Siegl explained that options are currently being examined in connection with major renovation work in the area around the Imperial Palace. Another sold-out concert took place before work in 2022, which only further fuels the enthusiasm for Santiano.
