Conservation events in the Hamelen Museum: Fun for the whole family!
A trip to the world of history and creativity awaits the little visitors in the Hamelner Museum! As part of the holiday program, which is currently causing great enthusiasm, the museum invites you to exciting hands-on events on four consecutive days. From July 15th to 18th, 2025, children from 10 to 12 years can playfully immerse themselves in the past and create their own little works of art. Whether the production of historical toys or painting outdoors, there is something for everyone.
The program should not only offer the young participant: not only offer special access to the history inside, but also promote their creativity. "We want to give the children the opportunity to learn something about past times with joy," explains the museum director. The interest in such activities is unbroken because they are a welcome change in everyday holidays.

data protection in the digital age
throughout Germany, and also here in Hanover, compliance with data protection regulations is a hot iron. With the entry into force of the Telecommunications Digital Dienstatenschutz-Act (TDDDG) on December 1, 2021, the requirements of the European Union were specified for the Eprivacy Directive. It is now essential that website operators offer clear information about cookies in order to enable the user: inside an informed consent. The TDDDG requires that information can only be accessed or saved with the consent of the user with a few exceptions for technically necessary cookies, such as those used for the meeting. The requirements are supplemented by regulations of the Telemedia Act (TMG) and the Telecommunications Act (TKG).
These new regulations ensure that user rights are more taken into account, while the safety of data processing is guaranteed at the same time. Violations can result in high fines, which also increases attention to the topic. The supervision is the responsibility of the data protection authorities of the federal states, which have already taken the first measures against illegal cookie banners. This is particularly important in the sense of transparency and the trust of users in digital services.
The integration of data protection into everyday life, be it in museums or in digital offers, is a step in the right direction. While the children gain creative experience in the Hamelner Museum, the adults can keep an eye on developments in data protection that ensure that personal data is dealt with.
