Modules to promote heating networks

The second module, systemic funding, is aimed at new buildings and existing heating networks that are powered by at least 75% renewable energy. Up to 40% of investment expenditure can be funded here. This means significant financial savings are possible for owners of apartment buildings or larger properties, provided a feasibility study or transformation plan is in place.
Individual measures and operating cost support
Modules three and four focus on individual measures and operating cost support. Individual measures such as solar thermal systems or heat pumps can also be funded, again with support of 40% of eligible expenses. Operating cost support offers incentives for renewable amounts of heat from subsidized systems, which further increases the attractiveness of environmentally friendly heat sources.
The big goal remains a reduction in greenhouse gas emissions by 2030 and ensuring a significant proportion of renewable energies in the heating networks. The hope is that through these subsidies and initiatives, a number of households in Hildesheim will quickly switch to environmentally friendly district heating and thus actively contribute to climate neutrality.
