Infa 2025: The shopping paradise in Hanover starts with big ideas!
The popular Infa shopping fair opened its doors in Hanover on October 11, 2025. This 71st edition of the trade fair, which runs daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. until October 19th, features more than 700 exhibitors from a wide range of industries. A highlight this year is the newly launched “pleasure lounge”, which offers numerous tasting options.
The trade fair is divided into several exciting theme worlds, each with its own focus. Among other things, there is the Bazaar of Nations, where international exhibitors present handmade products and culinary specialties. The “Building & Living” area focuses on innovative living ideas and energy-saving concepts, while the “Lebensart” hall features high-quality offerings from the areas of living, enjoyment and lifestyle.
A feast for culinary delights and creative minds
The Market hall promises culinary delights with a variety of delicacies and kitchen utensils. The Beauty & Wellness areas are also very popular, not only through products, but also thanks to special workshops on yoga, Pilates and relaxation. This year, special attention is being paid to the “Christmas” hall, which tempts with festive Christmas decorations and gift ideas and invites visitors in time for the upcoming contemplative time.
Gourmets will get their money's worth in the open-air area, where food trucks serve up various street food specialties. Also new is “Uncorked Art,” which includes creative workshops with wine accompaniment. These interesting formats are not only suitable for hobby artists, but also for anyone who would like to try something new.
Visitor numbers and supporting program
The visitor numbers are promising: in the first week, the trade fair recorded 116,000 visitors, 3,000 more guests than in the previous year. The organizers, Deutsche Messe AG, expect further growth, which underlines the positive development of the German trade fair industry. In 2024, around 11.7 million visitors attended trade fairs in Germany, which represents an increase of 3.2 percent compared to previous events, according to figures from AUMA show.
Special events, such as the vintage car parade and the “infalino” baby fair, which took place on the first weekend of the fair, enrich the supporting program. These events not only provide entertainment, but also interesting information on different areas of life, from pregnancy to new mobility solutions.
The tickets can be purchased in advance online and include use of public transport in the greater Hanover area. The trade fair has a colorful variety to offer not only for the exhibitors, but also for the visitors, which increases the anticipation of the coming days.
