BerufsBeat Festival in Lüneburg: Music and future orientation for young people!

On September 11th and 12th, 2025, the historic old town of Lüneburg will be the venue for the first BerufsBeat Festival, which was launched by berry2b GmbH. This innovative event aims to enable young people to experience career orientation in a creative and lively way. The NBank is supporting the festival with up to 286,000 euros from the European Social Fund Plus, as Uelzener Presse reports.

The festival combines a varied program of music, workshops and direct exchange with companies. Michael Kiesewetter, CEO of NBank, emphasizes the importance of innovative concepts to make the transition from school to work easier.Katherine Schebesch and Mareile Truxius, who lead the project, want to develop a format that addresses the lives of young people and offers them an inspiring platform for their professional future.

An exciting program for everyone

The BerufsBeat Festival invites you to a colorful program from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. In addition to the opportunity to get to know apprenticeships and study programs, there are also workshops and networking opportunities on the agenda. Prior registration is required for the workshops, which can be done via the festival website after the summer holidays. Entry to the festival itself is free, so anyone interested can stop by.

A special highlight will be the rally, where participants can win cool prizes alone or in groups. Registration for this can also be done via the website. To find suitable exhibitors and their offers, visitors can use the berry2b app, which was developed specifically for this event.

Year-round support for young people

The organizers plan to expand the festival by another two days of events starting in 2026. This is intended to reach even more young people and develop a transferable event format that will be supplemented throughout the year by workshops with partner schools and mentoring events. These measures are intended to help young people find practical orientation and make “real” contacts in the professional world. A special program overview will be available on the website, which will also provide information on teaching materials and a festival magazine.

The participating exhibitors are aimed specifically at students in grades 8 to 13 as well as teachers, parents and students from Lower Saxony and Hamburg. Information stands, participation offers, stage times, speed dating and workshops offer an exciting range of presentation formats to get young people excited about the various professional fields.

With the BerufsBeat Festival, the organizers of berry2b, Lüneburg Marketing GmbH and the Landeszeitung are creating a motivating learning environment in which young people are sensitized to their professional future in a lively way. The festival promises not only an entertaining experience, but also valuable impulses for the life planning of all participants - there is certainly a lot of room for improvement!
