Rifle festival in Ringelheim: tradition, celebrations and a big fireworks display!

Ringelheim, Deutschland - Today is celebrated in Ringelheim - the 153rd shooting festival of the Schützengilde Ringelheim is just around the corner. The 71-year-old "Haverlah branch", led by Frank Viezens, also plays a central role in making itself strong for customs and cooperation within the guild.

The start of the shooting festival is planned for Saturday, July 20, at 12 p.m. Here the young men Kingwache is raised, followed by a rifle train with the reigning royal family from the market square to the fairground. The official opening of the festival takes place at 2:30 p.m. with a barrel tapping and free beer. In the evening, DJ Jan is in the marquee's entertainment, and the winning teams of the company and club shooting are announced.

The Sunday, July 21, is all about the city shooter day, where Klingebiel will also be present. The highlights of the day form a large parade through Ringelheim and the proclamation of the small and young rifle kings as well as the queen of women in the marquee. A traditional rifle breakfast will take place on Monday, July 22nd, at 11 a.m., to which over 300 visitors are expected. Representatives of the city administration and politics, including Mayor a.D.
