Wilhelmshaven, Deutschland - The judicial authorities in Lower Saxony assigned the proud sum of around 5.78 million euros to various non -profit organizations in 2024. This is the highest amount of the past five years and a clear sign that financial support for social projects in the country is increasing. The Joshuas Engelreich children's and youth hospice was able to record 10,200 euros in Wilhelmshaven, while the Hospiz Förderverein with 300 euros and the parents' association were supported with 7,740 euros in Wilhelmshaven and Friesland. The animal protection association Wilhelmshaven and the surrounding area also received 3,300 euros.

The funds do not come from the usual tax revenue, but are forwarded to the non -profit institutions by the public prosecutors and courts.
