In the St. Martin daycare center in Voslapp, pure joy has been pure since last Saturday! The lovingly designed redesign of the outdoor area was ceremoniously opened, and both children and parents are enthusiastic about the changes. The ceremonial opening attracted many families who experienced a colorful program together with their children. New scope for development

The redesign of the outside area has become a place of playing, discovery and learning for the children. Thanks to the expertise of the garden and landscaping company Friedemann Richter, renovation work took place that were urgently needed. A new drainage system ensures that no puddles arise when it rains and the paths were re -paved. In addition to a sandpit with sun sail and sandy fall protection for a climbing frame, there is now an old rocker in the form of a western carriage that was preserved at the request of the children and parents. In the coming weeks, the area will be expanded to include a new climbing tower with a slide, a double swing and a rotary rocker that is financed by generous donations.

The financial basis for this comprehensive project of around 150,000 euros was only made possible by the enormous commitment of parents and sponsors. Because without their support and participation during the planning phase, which was characterized by joint inspections and workshops, implementation could have been difficult. It was also important that teachers were actively involved in the planning and brought valuable information on the use of the outdoor area as well as requirements for the redesign. This methodology has proven to be a success, as Wilska Garten describes.

The importance of subsidies

Another key factor for the success of this project was the strategic application for funding. Based on tips that are often given in practice from various institutions such as lindenscapes , it was found that a well-thought-out strategy for the application is of enormous importance.
