It's getting festive in Wolfsburg: The Christmas market has opened its doors and is attracting visitors young and old with a colorful supporting program. The city center has been shining in Christmas splendor since November 24th, while the first huts as well as cable harnesses and stage structures were built on Hugo-Bork-Platz. There, children can take part in craft activities and story times, which take place on Thursdays and Fridays from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., Saturdays from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. and Sundays from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. A special campaign, the “Letter of Wishes to Santa Claus”, was very well received on November 26th from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.

There is also a varied stage program that provides musical highlights on Fridays and Saturdays: from acrobatics to folk rock to piano sounds, there is something for every taste. For example, DJ duo tonArt and Irish folk rock band The Keltics performed to get the audience in the festive spirit.
