The road users in the region can breathe a sigh of relief: From Friday, June 27, 2025, the full closure of federal road 206 near Bad Segeberg will be lifted. From the early afternoon, the route will be available for traffic again. This ends a long dry spell for commuters and residents, which had been affected by the "Levo-Park" intersection since mid-May. During this time, the road was thoroughly renovated on a three -kilometer section.

The renovation work that started on March 31, 2025 took place in four sections, with the last phase of the full closure of "Levo-Park" to the K47. Economic Minister Claus Ruhe Madsen (CDU) described this project as one of the country's four "outstanding" traffic projects and emphasized its importance for road safety. "The investment in our streets is very popular because it will improve the infrastructure sustainably," says Madsen.

As part of the renovation measures, not only the road was renewed, but also the walking and cycle path in the immediate vicinity. The work took place in sections under sometimes strict security precautions. Even in the case of partial closures, the traffic in the past was led only in a top -lane at a top speed of 30 km/h, which required patience for many drivers.

The total cost of the construction work amounts to around four million euros, which are completely borne by the federal government.
