Today was a special day for around 200 soldiers in Brunsbüttel. On September 5, 2025, they took their oath at the lock and successfully completed their basic training. This ceremony, which is part of the “West Coast Pledge Association”, took place in a celebratory setting and attracted over 500 spectators who followed this significant moment. The recruits were prepared for this day by their training facility, including the Air Force NCO School in Heide and the Cyber ​​and Information Space Training Center in Flensburg. The Special Pioneer Regiment 164 “Nordfriesland” from Husum was also involved in this ceremony, which marks the end of an important phase of life.
