Something is happening in the southwest of Schleswig-Holstein: The SoVD local association Elmshorn/Sparrieshoop invites its members to a big barbecue. This will take place on August 8, 2025 and promises a social get-together in a relaxed atmosphere. Registrations are now possible, directly from Dieter Wenskat on 04121 – 85501. Why should you miss out?
Participants don't have to worry about salads because the caterer takes care of the grilled food and the appropriate side dishes. You only have to pay a small participation fee of €10. If the weather is nice, the celebration will take place outdoors, while if the weather is bad, the Diekendeel will serve as an alternative location. A two and a half hour event awaits members from 5:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. So, pack in the good mood!
Calls for help from the community
For those who want to get actively involved, there is also a call to help! The construction of the celebrations begins on August 8th at 10:00 a.m. Supporters are warmly welcome here, because every step counts in the community.
What is particularly exciting is that the SoVD Elmshorn/Sparrieshoop is part of a large family. The German Social Association (SoVD) has a strong sense of cohesion, as is also evident in the Flintbek local association. Founded in May 1947, it has over 600 members from Flintbek and the surrounding area. It not only offers a contact point for social concerns, but also organizes regular meetings, informative lectures and social gatherings. The motto “together instead of alone” sums up the community and creates a strong network among the members. sovd-flintbek.de sums it up nicely!
So what awaits the participants of the barbecue? An afternoon full of fun, delicious food and, above all, the opportunity to meet old acquaintances and make new friends. A cozy atmosphere in the open air, exciting conversations and a positive atmosphere are guaranteed!
