The bear will soon be dancing in Elmshorn! The TTC Seeth-Ekholt invites you to the local table tennis mini championships on November 8th, 2025. The event takes place in the gymnasium of the Hainholz elementary school and is a real highlight for the young athletes in the region.
All children born from January 1, 2013 are eligible to participate. The spectacle is part of the 43rd season of the 2025/2026 Mini Championships. Here the little ones can show what they can do on the table tennis table! It is important that the children are allowed to be members of a table tennis club, but do not have, have had or have applied for permission to play from a DTTB member association.
Age groups and tournament schedule
The girls and boys compete against each other in separate age groups so that everyone has a fair chance to prove themselves. The age groups are divided as follows:
- 8 Jahre und jünger: Geburtsdatum ab 1. Januar 2017
- 9-/10-Jährige: Geburtsdatum 1. Januar 2015 bis 31. Dezember 2016
- 11-/12-Jährige: Geburtsdatum 1. Januar 2013 bis 31. Dezember 2014
The hall opens at 9:30 a.m. on the day of the event. Rental clubs will be provided for those who do not have their own racket. A few basic rules should be observed: Clean indoor sneakers and sports clothing (no white T-shirts) are mandatory. Training for beginners
For children who would like to immerse themselves in the world of table tennis, the TTC Seeth-Ekholt also offers training times for beginners. These take place on Mondays from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. and Fridays from 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. A perfect introduction to preparing for the mini championships and gaining your first experience at the table.
So are you ready to swing the bat and maybe even emerge victorious? The anticipation for the mini championships is increasing and the whole restaurant is invited to support and cheer on the talents of tomorrow! The sporting event not only promises exciting matches, but also a lot of fun and a sense of community among the young participants.
