Jeddeloh triumphs 4-0 over Flensburg – mini-series shattered!

SC Weiche Flensburg 08 suffered a bitter defeat today. In the home game against SSV Jeddeloh, Flensburg lost 4-0 and could not continue their mini-series of three wins. In front of 714 spectators, Jeddeloh lined up the shooters and made short work of the Flensburg defense.

The first goal was scored by Tom Gaida in the 4th minute, laying the foundation for success. Simon Brinkmann added in the 32nd minute and increased the score to 2-0. Simply unstoppable, Brinkmann scored a brace in the 52nd minute and made the score 3-0. Pascal Steinwender finally made it 4-0 in the 61st minute, which decided the game early. Flensburg tried again when Randy Manu Gyamenah and Marcel Cornils came on for Moritz Göttel and Raul Celotto in the 61st minute, but their fate was sealed.

Flensburg's season balance

The disadvantaged table speaks for itself: with 26 goals conceded and a total of 25 goals scored, Flensburg shows a mixed record. The team is currently in midfield with 15 points from 11 games – that means 5 wins and 6 defeats. The Flensburg team will now have to put everything on one card to bring about a turnaround, as their next game against Bremer SV is on Wednesday.

Jeddeloh is on the rise

In contrast, SSV Jeddeloh is on the rise. With a record of 7 wins, 3 draws and only 1 defeat, they are firmly on the positive course. Jeddeloh is unbeaten in three games and will face Blau-Weiß Lohne on Wednesday in the hope of extending their winning streak.

So now it’s time for Flensburg to hold their heads up and come back. The support of the fans is essential. For more details and the current viewership numbers in the Regionalliga Nord, look here or find out about the game on Soccerway.
