From 11 to July 13, 2025, cheese lovers and wine lovers will go on a culinary journey of discovery in the Kiel boat harbor. At the Kiel pleasure festival "Cheese meets wine", regional specialties meet exquisite wines from southern Germany. Kiel Marketing reports that the event promises a festival for the senses, including wineries and cheese factories from Schleswig-Holstein Startups.
A highlight will be the presentation of the Solaris Weißwein from the Ingenhof winery in Schleswig-Holstein. In addition to this high-class wine, visitors can also experience a wide selection of regional products from the Schleswig-Holstein cheese road. These include, among other things, exquisite cheese specialties of cheese factories that produce directly along this GELENSUNGENTAND.

Especially the ice cream specialties of the Trollebüller ice cream cream, which are perfect for the hot summer days. The event is organized by the Schleswig-Holstein Chamber of Agriculture, Kiel Marketing and the Schleswig-Holstein cheese road, which together ensure that visitors can enjoy an enormous variety of cheeses and crying.
In addition, a stand with delicious delicacies attracts under the motto "Tested quality Schleswig-Holstein", where protected specialties such as Holsteiner Tilsiter and Katen ham are offered across the EU. The cheese variations include both cow, sheep and goat cheese and are the direct enjoyment from the region. The exhibitors include the Holtseer Landkäserei, Jahnke's goat cheese and Meierhof Möllgaard.

The culinary experience is rounded off by the chance to create a hand in workshops and to produce cheese, which is planned on Saturday. In order to minimize the ecological footprint, the event on the reusable plate is set for the food output and glasses for the wine bar. Vegan alternatives and organic beer are also offered, so that there is something for every preference.
