Summer festival in Norderstedt: Three generations celebrate together!

A very special generational summer festival will be celebrated in Norderstedt on July 12, 2025, bringing young and old together. An event will take place on the premises at Glockenheide 40-42 from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., organized by the three local institutions - the Friedrichsgabe family center, the youth center and the Glockenheide seniors' meeting place. The focus is on community and fun.

A varied program awaits visitors. There is an exciting exercise construction site for children, in which a course has been set up that invites them to achieve top sporting achievements. Creative minds can let off steam at the painting table, while throwing cans requires skill. But the hydraulic construction site also provides refreshment and lots of fun, especially on a hot summer day. Anyone who would like to find out more about what the social meetings have to offer has the opportunity to visit the youth center and find out about important topics such as cardiopulmonary resuscitation with a defibrillator from the German Red Cross.

Games and fun for everyone

In addition to the activities already mentioned, participants can put their skills to the test in the bobby car race. Whether riding ride-on cars or fishing through exciting treasures – there is something for everyone here. In a paddling pool, little anglers can use a landing net to fish “treasures” such as Lego bricks or balls out of the water. The water balloon sinking and the barefoot path race are also sure to get a lot of laughs.

Another highlight will be the “Balloon Picasso” game, in which children hit water balloons filled with darts to create creative works of art. And for all little adventurers, the wishing well offers a great opportunity to throw their coins into the paddling pool while cementing their wish for a great summer. Of course, the popular wheelbarrow race, where parents push their children through the garden, should not be missed.
