Supply bottleneck for cancer patients: urgent solution in sight!

In Schleswig-Holstein there is currently great concern about the medical care of cancer patients. These closures are the result of the provider's financial difficulties, which is now leading to bottlenecks in oncological care. However, the KVSH and the statutory health insurance associations of Schleswig-Holstein and Hamburg have found a temporary solution to give patients continued access to necessary treatments.

The referral takes place depending on the urgency and individual situation, so that patients from Schleswig-Holstein can also be referred to doctors in Hamburg. This solution ensures, at least temporarily, that medical care is maintained and patients are not left alone.
