Strong offspring! Panama adventure on the theater ship Batavia

The theater ship Batavia has come up with something very special for the coming season: the popular children's play “Oh, how beautiful is Panama” is returning to the stage. Inspired by Janosch's magical book, the performance tells the adventures of the little bear and the little tiger as they search for the mysterious Panama. With a mix of excitement and humor, the performance is aimed at children aged three and over, who can immerse themselves in the exciting story together with their friends. Directed by Nele Bieringer and with technical support from Hannes Grabau, the talented Batavia ensemble brings the characters to life. SHZ reports that the action-packed story not only captivates children, but also conveys a valuable message about friendship and longing.

The first performances are already around the corner. The piece will be performed for the first time on November 16, 2025 at 4:00 p.m., followed by further dates every Sunday until February 8, 2026. The exact dates are:

More exciting events

But the theater ship Batavia has even more to offer: There are also other events on the program in November. On November 14th, the band Stew'n Haggis will provide musical entertainment, followed by Kathi Wolf and her program “Klapsenbeste” on November 21st. On November 22nd, the Batavia Ensemble will bring the comedy “Ringelkiez” to the stage, and on November 27th the Trio Hafennacht will give a performance with “Über uns der Himmel”. Finally, music lovers can expect the band Klönschnack Allstars on November 29th. Here too, the fun always starts at 7:30 p.m. Batavia Frond has thus established itself as a true cultural center.

Now the only question that remains is: Who has the best interests in mind or a good knack for an unforgettable experience? A visit to the theater ship Batavia could be just the thing to wow friends and family!
