In Itzehoe, preparations for the 25th Azubiz vocational training fair are in full swing. On Friday, September 26th, the Regional Vocational Training Center of the Steinburg District (RBZ) will open its doors and is expecting over 2,000 young visitors. The trade fair, which has developed into an important event for career orientation over the years, promises numerous exciting offers on this day.
With more than 150 companies, universities and academies from all over Germany, a wide range of over 200 different training offers is presented. Organizer Marie Kluthe and her comrade-in-arms Christel Butenschön have put together a diverse program that specifically targets students from community schools and high schools.
New speed dating format
A highlight of this year's trade fair is the newly introduced speed dating format. It is intended to enable young people to talk directly to companies, without inhibitions and on an equal footing. This offer not only aims to provide information, but also to create a relaxed atmosphere where questions can be asked and answers given.
