BMTV ladies triumph in Barmbek: undefeated and strong!

Last weekend the BMTV handball players showed what they can do. In a thrilling game against Eimsbüttel TV 3, the women won with a clear 32:26 and thus remain undefeated in their own hall. With a score of 16-2, they maintain an impressive place in the league and demonstrate that they can perform well under pressure. Kelle Radmer, the BMTV coach, then praised the mental strength of his players, even if there were always small problems with concentration.

The start of the game was characterized by a concentrated appearance from the hosts. But the Eimsbüttel women knew how to present the BMTV with challenges. Despite a few shaky moments, the team quickly found its rhythm. Precise passes led to dangerous attacks and the team was already leading 20-10 at halftime. In the second half, ETV managed to shorten the gap, but BMTV remained in control and brilliantly converted the opportunities that presented themselves. The game's top scorer, Anne, was the outstanding player on the pitch with her ten goals.

Rise of the Welfenstädter in handball

At the same time, another club is causing a stir: the Welfenstadt team have extended their home series and remain unbeaten in the first half of the season. The club's first men's team has not been defeated on home soil for 1.5 seasons now. The return of important players like Lukas Hildebrand, who is back in the mix after a wrist injury, contributes significantly to the success.

In an exciting game against Lustenau, it was once again an even duel in which neither team was able to gain a decisive advantage. In the 26th minute, the Welfenstadters were finally able to take a two-goal lead for the first time, and despite the guests catching up at half-time, they stayed ahead until the end. Sven Gärtner was the key player with nine goals, leading the team to a deserved victory and defending fifth place in the table. Now the next away game is against BW Feldkirch, second in the table.
