The autumn holidays are just around the corner and we're looking forward to the 34th edition of the Sports youth culture weeks grows in the Pinneberg district. From October 18th to November 2nd, 2025 there will be action and fun for children and young people from the region. The event is financially supported by Sparkasse Südholstein and Sportjugend Schleswig-Holstein and offers numerous activities that are deeply rooted in the community.
This year the offers are spread across the entire district, so there is something for everyone. Classic activities such as indoor overnight stays, sports camps and games meet new formats such as circus projects and Halloween parties. Particularly pleasing: Many programs are available free of charge or at a reduced price for socially disadvantaged families and children with disabilities. This promotes participation and ensures that all children and young people have the opportunity to actively participate.
Diversity for everyone
Planning for the sports youth culture weeks begins before the summer holidays so that everything can be organized in time. Each offer is open to club members and non-members, which increases accessibility. During the SJKW, all participants are insured with the state sports association through the Pinneberg district sports association, even if they are not a member of a club.

Organization and support
In order to design the events optimally, the supervisors and organizers are called upon to take the total needs and wishes of the children and young people into account. This ensures that the programs are not only exciting but also inclusive. A helpful document about grants and billing modalities will be provided to the associations after the program has been submitted.
The German sports youth is also involved in the financing and has clearly defined the requirements for the use of logos and funding information. All activities funded as part of the SJKW must bear the appropriate logos of the Federal Ministry for Family, Senior Citizens, Women and Youth (BMBFSFJ), which underlines the official support and the importance of the event.
The planning will be rounded off with a follow-up meeting on November 24, 2025, where the impressions and experiences of the sports youth culture weeks can be reflected on and recorded together.
