a festive anniversary with tradition

shooting festivals are deeply rooted in Germany and are very popular. All shooting clubs report that there are over 15,000 rifle clubs across Germany, and the concept of the shooting festivals goes back to the Middle Ages. The choice of rifle kings and festive removals with marching chapels are considered important traditions. The shooting festivals not only secure customs, but also promote the sense of community in the places.

The shooting club Neudorf-Platendorf is optimistic about the future and in particular thanks the Sparkassenstiftung Gifhorn-Wolfsburg for the financial support for the purchase of a new flag. In the coming days, the anniversary festival will send a sign of togetherness and call the residents to maintain traditions and celebrate together.
