MYTILINEOS Energy & Metals prüft internationale Börsennotierung

MYTILINEOS Energy & Metals, a multinational industrial and energy company based in Greece, has announced that it is exploring strategic options to achieve further growth and shareholder value. The company, in consultation with its financial, legal, and tax advisors, will evaluate various organic and inorganic growth opportunities, capital allocation models, optimal balance sheet structures, and the appropriate listing structure.

MYTILINEOS is committed to international expansion, leveraging its established geographic presence and Greek heritage while operating within a robust governance framework. As part of this strategy, the company is considering a possible listing on an international exchange, including the London Stock Exchange, within the next 12-18 months. This move aims to enhance liquidity for investors. However, MYTILINEOS remains committed to its contributions to the Greek economy and society and intends to maintain its listing on the Athens Stock Exchange, where it has been listed since 1995.

Over the past years, MYTILINEOS has undergone significant transformation, reflected in substantial revenue and profitability growth. The company aims to strengthen its broad international reach and strong domestic position. The strategic review will ensure that MYTILINEOS remains aligned with its long-term strategic vision and maximizes shareholder value.

Citigroup Global Markets Europe AG and Morgan Stanley & Co. International plc are serving as financial advisors for MYTILINEOS during this strategic review process. Clifford Chance LLP is acting as an international legal advisor, Zepos & Yannopoulos as Greek legal advisor, and EY as an international tax advisor.
