Three robbers attack 100-year-olds in Bremen-police are looking for witnesses!

Ecke Sandstraße und Wilhadistraße, 28195 Bremen, Deutschland - A shocking incident caused excitement in Bremen on May 30, 2025. Around 7 p.m., on the corner of Sandstrasse and Wilhadistraße, a 100-year-old man who was accompanied by his 59-year-old son-in-law was attacked. Three men attacked the two, with a perpetrator held the son -in -law while another pressed the senior to the ground. The third perpetrator ensured that passers -by were distracted. In this brutal argument, the hundred -year -old was violently torn from the wrist of his golden wristwatch from Patek Philippe, model 3700.

The perpetrators fled towards Violenstrasse and further to Ostertorswallstrasse towards Wallanlagen. Fortunately, the victim was only slightly injured, but the police set up a special commission called "Young Robbers" to clarify the incident. As reported ndr.de, the investigators have already secured video recordings from two of the suspected perpetrators.

Investigations and the description of the perpetrator

The public prosecutor and the police are actively looking for further information on the suspects. According to Tagesschau.de, all three men are urgently suspect and the investigation has already included witness surveys and the securing of further evidence. The police ask the population for help and published the telephone number of the Bremen crime service: (0421) 362-38 88.

The incident raises questions about the general security situation in the city. Although there are current statistics Statista.com, which show a decline in crime in Germany in 2024, the security sense of many citizens is severely impaired by such incidents. The police crime statistics (PKS) shows that the most common crimes include thefts, property offenses and rawness offenses. In cities such as Bremen, citizens are increasingly faced with the possibility of becoming victims of crimes.

A look at crime in Germany

In recent years, the development of crime in Germany has shown. While the numbers of many offenses could be reduced, the dark field, i.e. not recorded crimes, remains a big topic. As can be seen from the data, crime and security concerns are particularly high in city -states such as Bremen. The clarification rate in 2024 was 58 %, which means that many deeds still remain unsolved.

In view of the perpetrators, the search for the perpetrator is of great importance in view of these developments. The incident once again shows that the examination of the limits of crime and the resulting fears in society must continue to be a top priority.
