SpVgg Torgelow-Ueckermünde II celebrates victory and coach farewell!

An exciting matchday came to an end in the State Football Class II on June 17, 2025. SpVgg Torgelow-Ueckermünde II not only secured third place in the final table with a convincing 3-0 win against SV Gützkow, but also said farewell to their coach Enrico Beck with flying colors. Bado Dachner scored a brace (40th and 52nd minute), while Lennart Schulz scored the final point in the 80th minute. With 14 wins, 8 draws and 4 defeats, the team had a remarkable season. This not only pleases the spectators, but also shows that the team seems to have a good knack for winning, even with the departure of their leader.

A look at the remaining games on matchday 26 shows further exciting results. The duel between Pasewalker FV and Penkuner SV Rot-Weiß ended 2:2. Michael Kipp gave Pasewalk an early lead, but Grzegorz Grzywa equalized just two minutes later. Several intense minutes followed, and Jan Diego Pankau took the lead again in the 72nd minute. But this lead didn't last long either, as Patryk Lukaszewicz let Penkun celebrate again just two minutes later. An injured Bartosz Wroblewski had to be hospitalized due to a right wrist fracture, which further aggravated the situation for Penkun.

Match reports in detail

Meanwhile, SV Görmin was able to celebrate a clear 4-0 win against Motor Eggesin. Tom Oliver Rese and Nick Erzmoneit laid the foundation for success with their goals in the first half. In the second half, Carsten Baresel made the final score with a brace (79th minute and a penalty in the 82nd minute). The season was not an easy one for Motor Eggesin - with 14 defeats they ended up in 11th place.

Coach changes are often a hotly debated topic in amateur football. While quick decisions are often made in the professional sector, the spirit of togetherness often remains in the amateur sector. Coaches are often local personalities or long-time companions of the players, which makes separation even more difficult. However, there are also notable exceptions. In the upper amateur sector, some clubs have brought a breath of fresh air into the teams by dismissing coaches. FC Pipinsried, for example, was able to successfully fight its way out of the relegation zone under new coach Andy Pummer, who took over after a series of failures. The same applies to VfR Garching, where Benjamin Flicker resigned and Nico Basta took over - here the trend is clearly upwards. The analysis of previous coaching changes shows that in many cases a higher point average was achieved.

It remains to be seen how future coaching changes in amateur football will develop. But one thing is certain: in a scene where cohesion is very important, new approaches to collaboration and management could also lead to exciting developments. For Torgelow-Ueckermünde II, however, the moment of farewell to Enrico Beck with this clear victory remains a fond memory. This is the end of a chapter, but the future looks exciting.
