New development area in Hemeringen: More living space for everyone!
In Hemeringen, a charming district of Hessisch Oldendorf, living space planning is taking tangible form. The city administration has initiated the first steps for the construction of single-family homes, multi-family homes and semi-detached houses on agricultural land. The administrative committee unanimously passed a decision to draw up a development plan, as Dewezet reports.
This was preceded by discussions with the local council in order to incorporate the concerns of local residents into the planning. An important part of this first planning step is that no city council resolution is currently necessary. The plan is to develop a two-hectare area east of Gärtnerweg. The owner has already given his consent to make the field available for the construction project.
Living with vision
The new living space will be accessed via a newly created ring road that connects to an existing dirt road. A central square, intended as a meeting area for future residents, is also included in the plans. Mayor Tarik Oenelcin highlights the noticeable need for living space and emphasizes that apartments with several residential units must also be created.
In recent years, Hemeringen has established itself as the third “settlement and supply center” in the urban area. But despite this, residential land development has stagnated for a long time, which is now set to change with this new project. The plans are still in the early phase and it should be noted that the current decision is not yet legally binding. The next stage involves the participation of the public as well as other relevant authorities who can raise their concerns.
Costs and further steps
There is currently no information about the future costs of the building plots. The city administration aims to set appropriate prices for the areas offered in the future.
