The Bremen Green parliamentary group reorganized itself at the end of June. Henrike Müller was unanimously confirmed as chairwoman, while Philipp Bruck will remain as deputy for the next two years. The duo has led the faction since 2023 and embodies a strong unity. With a total of ten MPs behind them, Müller and Bruck emphasize the support of their group in the new term of office and are focusing on climate protection and Bremen's resilience to crises. In these challenging times it is important to make the right decisions. The red-green-red coalition in Bremen has therefore decided on an extensive financial package of over 20 million euros for the 2024/25 double budget. The focus of this package is diverse: from strengthening citizen-oriented services to investing in social cohesion to an educational and climate-friendly future. Versatile measures for Bremen
The planned measures are impressive and show the determination of the coalition. Among other things, the police, judiciary and disaster control should be strengthened. Particular attention is also paid to expanding language support and training teachers in primary schools in order to help disadvantaged districts. A qualification bonus of over 660,000 euros is provided to support unskilled employees.

Climate protection in focus
