On August 11, 2025 the time has finally come: AIDAluna sets sail on its only trip to Greenland of the year. Expectations couldn't be higher because after a 14-day tour of Northern Europe, the cruise ship ends its journey in Hamburg to prepare for the next adventure. Together with the AIDAsol, which is in the port of Hamburg, AIDAluna will moor at the Cruise Center Altona. While AIDAsol has completed a trip to Great Britain, AIDAluna is heading to the untouched wilderness of Greenland immediately after the guest change campaign.

This new and exciting journey, which lasts over 21 days, promises unforgettable experiences. The route leads from Hamburg via several Icelandic ports and impresses with four stops in Greenland before continuing to Kirkwall on the Orkney Islands. The west coast of Greenland is particularly attractive because only a few cruise ships visit it - so there are still undiscovered beauties to admire here.

The highlights of the AIDAluna trip

The itinerary is a true dream tour for nature lovers and adventurers alike: from Hamburg it goes via Seydisfjördur and Akureyri in Iceland, followed by a magical passage through the Prins Christian Sound with its glaciers and icebergs.
