There's a lot of filming going on today in Bremerhaven and Cuxhaven, as the third part of the popular ARD series "Mord oder Watt?" are in full swing. Director André Erkau is in charge and has brought this exciting production to life with the working title “The Wild Hilde”. Around 40 people are active on the set while the main actors are walking across the stage in the picturesque locations of the North Sea. How CNV Media reports, filming will take place at the Mole Am Alten Vorhafen parking lot, among other places.
The story revolves around police chief inspector Wiebke Tönnessen, played by Antonia Bill, who throws herself into the action with her colleague Malte Niebecker, played by Joshua Seelenbinder. Oliver Mommsen once again plays the charming TV detective Tim Seebach and brings his own reality into play by reflecting on the challenges of getting older with his film character. Mommsen describes his role as less serious compared to his time on "Tatort", indicating some humorous moments in the romantic crime comedy.
The film is expected to be broadcast on Erste in 2026, and it will be exciting to see how viewers react to the new fictional district of Bremerhaven-Westerfleth. Buten and inland highlights that the story also includes a corpse in the mudflats and will therefore provide a lot of suspense. The aesthetics of the characters are particularly interpreted through the wild wind on the set, which challenges the actors' authentic hairstyles as they act in the coastal landscape.
