Lantern festival and live music: A festival for the whole family in Bremerhaven!
On November 9th the time has finally come: the lantern festival in the glass rehearsal room of the Hanse Carré in Bremerhaven opens its doors. A special program with the band awaits visitors from 1 p.m. to 3:30 p.m SHANTEEZ. The band, founded in April 2023, has now made a name for itself and brings handmade music from the genres of blues, rock and pop to the stage.
What is particularly exciting is that the glass rehearsal room is not only an event location, but also a kind of music contact point where spectators can watch live rehearsals. This unique idea attracts many interested parties and offers a great opportunity to experience the band's musical development up close.
Unforgettable atmosphere and participation offers
The Lantern Festival promises a fascinating mix of lights and sounds – a true delight for all the senses! Visitors are invited to come along with their own instruments to be part of the event. An amplifier is not necessary as equipment such as vocal microphones and guitars are provided on site. You can register simply by sending an email to musik@shanteez.de. Admission is free, but donations are warmly welcomed.
Of course, the children are not forgotten at a festival: they can parade through the streets, present their lanterns and look forward to craft activities that will put you in a good mood. While Bremerhaven's Lantern Festival has a unique twist, there are various lantern festivals throughout Germany, including the traditional Lantern Festival, celebrated annually on the last weekend in August. Here children parade through the streets with homemade lanterns, and the mood is no less festive.
