Music and party in Bremerhaven
On Friday, December 26th, there will be a big party at Club Shiva on Moltkestrasse. From 8 p.m., celebrants can look forward to a colorful music program with dancehall, digibass, funk jungle and reggae, presented by Ifos & Friends. The tickets are available at various sales points such as Mr. Nice Guy on Lloydstrasse or Edeka Center Knauer. Those who prefer a relaxed tour have the opportunity to take part in the “Seaman's Yarn, Legends and the Sea” event from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Here participants learn more about maritime stories and legends. Tickets cost 18 euros and can be ordered by email or online.
On Saturday, December 27th, the dance floor in the Fischbahnhof in the Bremerhaven shop window will open. Under the motto “90’s Retro Fever” things will be happening again from 9 p.m. DJs H-Man and DJ Tevn play and bring back the hits from the 90s. Anyone interested in sports can cheer on the Eisbären Bremerhaven in their game against the Tigers Tübingen at 4 p.m. Tickets for the basketball game are available online.
Cultural experiences and cozy visits
On Sunday, December 28th, there are two exciting events. A tour of the exhibition “Friends, Helpers, Street Fighters” in the Historical Museum provides information about the police in the Weimar Republic and begins at 3 p.m. Participation is free, but registration is requested. For early risers, there is the popular flea market on Rotersand in Rudloffstrasse from 6 a.m., where you can grab one or two bargains.

There is a lot to offer in Bremerhaven and the surrounding area, and not just on weekends. The Bremerhaven Christmas market is also taking place in the city center until December 30th, where visitors can enjoy the festive atmosphere. After the holidays, the city and its organizers are looking forward to numerous events in the coming year, including the Bremer Sixdays in January and the Bremerhaven Fish Party in April, which will enliven the scene in the coming months.
